Advice
I have a couple pieces of advice. Firstly, meet with your manager before your start date. It’s important to prepare your goals and what you want to work on during your time at your internship. Preparing these and meeting with your manager before your start date helps ensure you fulfill your time the way you want to.
Secondly, don’t be afraid to ask for more work or ask questions. You have a couple of months to really dive into this experience and make it your own. It’s important to speak up if there is something you want to work on or feel as if there isn’t enough work for you to do. You can always reach out to your team members to see how you can assist on their tasks as well.
Lastly, always work hard. You have a couple of months to use this experience as a way to not only learn, but to prove yourself as a great candidate. No matter how big or small the task or project is, always give it your all and bring 100% energy to the table.
