Job Title: Virtual Marketing Assistant 

Location: Remote (U.S.-based candidates preferred)

Type: 1099 Contractor

Hours: 15–20 hours/week (flexible)

Compensation: $15–$20/hour, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and manage content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Email Marketing: Design and execute email campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact, including list segmentation and performance analysis.
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling marketing copy, blog posts, and promotional materials aligned with brand voice and strategy.
  • Marketing Funnels: Assist in building and optimizing marketing funnels to improve lead generation and conversion rates.
  • Graphic Design: Utilize tools like Canva to create visually appealing graphics for various marketing initiatives.
  • Video Editing: Edit and produce engaging short-form videos using CapCut to support social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Website and Membership Site Management: Update website content and manage membership sites, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Business Automation: Implement and manage automation tools to streamline marketing and administrative processes.
  • Inbox and Calendar Management: Organize and respond to emails, schedule appointments, and manage calendars to ensure efficient time management.
  • Customer Support: Provide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Tech Setup: Handle the setup and integration of marketing tools and platforms, ensuring all systems function cohesively. 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Virtual Marketing Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, including Later for scheduling and planning content.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Familiarity with marketing funnel creation and optimization.
  • Proficiency in graphic design using Canva.
  • Experience with video editing tools, particularly CapCut.
  • Experience with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with SEO and content optimization.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Previous experience in customer support roles.
