Location: Remote and travel-based 

Overview:
This year, Roadtrip Nation is sending three people on a life-changing journey to explore careers in libraries. 

Fueled by the Carnegie Corporation of New York and Strada Education Foundation, you’ll travel across the country, meet inspiring mentors who’ve turned their passion for books, curiosity, and community-building into careers, and discover all the surprising ways you can be part of shaping the future of libraries. 

We’re looking for you if: 

  • Love libraries and want to explore how you can be part of their future
  • Are curious about community-building, knowledge-sharing, and civic engagement
  • Want to learn from inspiring librarians, leaders, and innovators
  • Are ready to hit the road for a once-in-a-lifetime experience

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Roadtrip Nation’s team to identify and interview mentors you want to talk to
  • Travel to meet mentors and gather firsthand accounts of their experiences.
  • Share your own journey as it relates to career exploration and education.
  • You’ll be applying to be part of Roadtrip Nation’s public television series about how people find their path in life.  And we want to highlight you and share your story too.
