Summer Marketing/ Social Media/ Communications Intern

Fast-growing gender-expansive fashion brand based in New York City is looking for an intern to take charge of a wide range of marketing, communications, social media, as well as administrative initiatives, gain valuable practical experience, and have the potential to grow into a full-time position depending on the company's development.

This internship must be taken as a for-credit course.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate social media collaborations with influencers and photographers
  • Social media content research, strategy, and production
  • Social media calendar planning
  • Research and outreach to key influencers relevant to the brand
  • Maintain relationships with key influencers
  • Press material and story drafting, copywriting
  • Research and outreach to key media contacts relevant to the brand at a national and international level
  • Fashion Week initiatives
  • Photoshoot/ styling assistance
  • Event assistance
  • Sample tracking and management for editorial photoshoots
  • Shipping and receiving of samples and merchandise

Qualifications

  • Current student in relative fields preferred (fashion marketing, communications, photography, graphic design, and etc.)
  • Must be able to commute to New York City for work
  • Detail-oriented
  • Superb writing and verbal communication skills
  • Social media savvy
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Can work independently but also not afraid to ask questions
  • Must be committed to at least two fully days of work pre-week
