Historic New England will be offering seven internships for the summer semester and eight for the fall semester. The internships run 13 weeks and require 10 hours a week of work at $16 per hour.

Requirements

Below are the requirements to be eligible for an internship at Historic New England. If you do not meet all of the listed criteria, we are unable to accept your application.

  • Residency in a New England state (ME, NH, MA, RI, CT, or VT) during the internship tenure
  • Ability to attend the in-person internship orientation at our collections facility in Haverhill, MA during the day (dates listed below)
  •   Summer semester: Monday, June 2nd
  •   Fall semester: Thursday, August 28th
  • Enrollment in a college/university program or have graduated within 18-months of the start of the internship
  • For international students: documentation you are eligible to work in the United States

 

Schedule

Summer Semester: the first week of June to the last week of August

Fall Semester: the second week of September to the first week of December
