Research and Archives Intern
Contribute to the preservation and growth of the museum by assisting with historical research, archival organization, and collections development. Interns will help organize research materials, build outreach and partnership lists, identify potential artifact and collection leads, and support projects that strengthen the museum's exhibitions, educational initiatives, and future expansion. This position offers hands-on experience in museum research, archival practices, and nonprofit operations while contributing to meaningful historical preservation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage information accurately.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and digital filing systems.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
- Interest in history, archives, museum studies, public history, library science, or nonprofit organizations is highly encouraged.
