Marketing Coordinator
Summary: The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness as well as planning and executing engaging content across our social media platforms to attract new customers and engage with our existing audience. This role involves planning and executing marketing campaigns, managing social media channels, and coordinating promotional events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, strong organizational skills, and a knack for creative thinking.

- Marketing Strategy: Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plan and social media strategy that aligns with our brand’s goals and objectives. Identify target audiences, trends, and opportunities to increase our online presence and engagement.
- Social Media Management: Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Content Creation: Develop and produce high-quality visual and written content for various social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. This includes photos, videos, stories, and reels that highlight our menu, specials, events, and restaurant ambiance. Develop marketing materials such as flyers, posters, digital ads, and newsletters. Collaborate with graphic designers and photographers to ensure high-quality visuals.
- Campaign Management and Promotional Events: Plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and contests. Plan and coordinate in-house and external promotional events, including grand openings, seasonal specials, and community engagement activities. Collaborate with the management team to ensure consistency and alignment with overall brand messaging.
- Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging social media platforms, and best practices. Experiment with new content formats and strategies to keep our social media presence fresh and engaging.
- Market Research: Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Utilize insights to make data-driven decisions.
- Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to customer feedback, reviews, inquiries, comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner. Foster positive relationships with our followers and encourage user-generated content. Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Collaborations: Work with local influencers, food bloggers, and media outlets to generate buzz and enhance the restaurant’s visibility.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s program in Marketing, Communications, Management, Business or a related field.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in social media platforms, content creation tools (such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva), and social media management tools. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Experience in video editing is required.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator, Social Media Manager, or similar role. Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Creativity: Ability to think creatively and generate innovative ideas for content that captures the essence of our restaurant and resonates with our audience. Keen eye for design and detail.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Passion: Genuine interest in food, dining, and restaurant culture. Enthusiastic about sharing our restaurant’s story and engaging with our community.
