Are you ready to be a part of a movement to revitalize Uptown and bring bold, people-centered leadership to Ward 10? Join the Lydia Millard for City Council campaign as a Campaign Fellow and help elect a candidate who listens, shows up, and fights for a safe, fun, and thriving Minneapolis.
About the Fellowship:
This is a hands-on opportunity to build real political power and make an impact on your community. As a Campaign Fellow, you’ll work closely with the campaign team to organize and engage voters across the ward. Whether you’re an experienced organizer or just getting involved in politics, we’ll train and support you every step of the way.
Fellow Responsibilities May Include:
• Door Knocking & Voter Engagement – Connect with Ward 10 residents, have real conversations, and mobilize them to vote.
• Phone & Text Banking – Help reach thousands of voters and volunteers to grow our campaign.
• Event Planning & Staffing – Assist with campaign events from community cleanups to Pride parties, from neighborhood meet-and-greets to voter registration drives.
• Social Media Content & Editing – Help plan, draft, and edit creative social media content that drives visibility and engagement.
• Community Outreach – Build relationships with local organizations, neighbors, businesses, and cultural groups to grow support.

• Passionate about local politics, social justice, and community organizing
• Energetic, friendly, and a great communicator
• Creative and open to learning new skills
